The VN CARES committee at the Thomas J. Long School of Pharmacy and Health Sciences at the University of the Pacific has always striven to aid underserved communities and help those who have trouble accessing health care and understanding health issues. With this ideology in mind, we established our first annual Pacific Family Health Fair in Stockton in 2007.
We are proud to host our biannual Pacific Outreach Health Fair in which we reach out to communities beyond Stockton, CA to help those in need. By expanding our horizons we are able to reach out to even more people with the aim to give them free access to health care as well as raise cancer awareness and other health topics. Each year we see our outreach grow and become even more successful than the last and it is all thanks to those who support us in our endeveavors.
We, as a student committee, are only able to do so much to compensate for the extra resources necessary, but with the help of kindhearted and generous donors like yourself, we can make a lasting difference to inspire others to do the same!
